Grandpa Update

Grandpa went back to the Oncologist yesterday for results & more testing. He had his 1st round of chemo yesterday. He'll go every 3 weeks for a 2 hour infusion of chemo & then take a chemo pill everyday, twice a day. With this type of chemo, he'll be very sensitive to cold & has to be very cautious not to drink or eat anything cold for 5 days or so after a treatment. The other side effects of chemo are nausea, vomiting, hairloss etc. He felt pretty good after the infusion & said his arm was very cold where they infused the chemo. Other than that it was tolerable, HOPEFULLY it stays that way. He's pain free & is back to doing all his daily chores. Truly one of the strongest people I know.
