Thanksgiving Week

We had a wonderful turkey week!! Wednesday night I got together with some of my best friends (we missed you Lysh). We had some appetizers, drinks, & Happy Joes Pizza. It was so good to be with them. There was lots of stories & laughter as we all scrambled to get caught up. Drew was quite the character & when he had enough he dozed off in Jessie's arms. For those of you who know Drew, he DOES NOT fall asleep being held!! He was probably just shutting down from all the NOISE!!

Thursday we went to Michael's parents for a delicious lunch on Terri's beautiful Red Wing dishes. It was so nice & all the boys quickly snuck in a siesta after the wonderful meal, while us girls cleaned up. We had a nice time. That afternoon we had Thanksgiving at my moms with both sides of the family, 80+ people. It was nice to have everyone together. We are so lucky to have such a wonderful family. We took the opportunity to take lots of pictures as we aren't all together, but about a couple times a year.

Friday morning Maggie & the kids arrived. We left all the kids (besides Maddie, who stayed with Nana) with Michael & us girls were off to the stores. We had a wonderful time & got most of the items on our lists. We shopped, had lunch, & a few laughs, ESPECIALLY when Maggie ran into the door!!!!!!!!!! Still makes me laugh out loud thinking about it!! That evening we celebrated Rick's birthday at our house. Everyone was able to be there minus Scott who had to work. Terri made an AWESOME video for Rick of pictures dating back to when they first got together up until now. My favorite was the grandkids song & it still brings tears to my eyes. A gift to treasure forever.

Saturday Maggie & I did some shopping & we all went to lunch. She hit the road that afternoon as the snow was coming. I got some wrapping done & we stayed indoors. One of Michael's childhood friends Duwayne & his girlfriend Stephanie stopped by for a visit that evening. It was good to see them.

Sunday our friends Marcus & Lyndsie stopped by. We had a nice visit with them. They are expecting their first baby boy in February, so it was fun to chat babies!! Michael & I had made a quick shopping trip & then enjoyed a nice late lunch at Buffalo Wild Wings.
