ONE MONTH!!

It has been 1 whole month since I've posted anything, YIKES!! In this past month A LOT has happened!! And we've been busy...........my mom found out she has a tumor on her spine, after much worry & stress she finally got to see the neurosurgeon. The tumor apprears to be a benign neuroma. Surgery would be too risky as he'd have to take the whole nerve root leaving her with more problems. LUCKILY in this past week she has gotten LOTS of relief from physical therapy.

Drew had his first battle with croup. What a sad & scary time for him. He was still a good boy during the time, but he had some rough nights. I enjoyed the time he actually let me rock him. He was quite the cuddle bug, my first sign he was sick. After some steroids he was good as new.

My mother n law went in for a routine colonoscopy. That evening she was having a lot of pain & it ended up that her bowel had perforated. After a 4 hour surgery they were able to fix her. A very scary time, but thankfully she is ok. She was such a trooper, I'm sure that played into her excellent recovery. She is still off work & healing, but has been able to keep positive, truly something to admire.

Those are a few of the ordeals that have kept us busy. They both made us even more thankful for our families!
