The Weekend!

Friday night we headed up to Cedar Falls to watch Jacob play basketball, to celebrate Maggie's birthday, & to celebrate Michael's new job! Friday we ordered take out and then sang Happy Birthday to Maggie. The kids, Michael, & Scott had a wrestling match in the living room that night. I'm pretty sure Scott & Michael were having just as much fun as the kids. I know forsure Michael was! He was sweating, but that wasn't stopping him. On the ride home today he said "I had so much fun wrestling with the kids and seeing them laugh so hard."

Saturday morning we went to watch Jacob play basketball and then everyone went out to breakfast. Rick, Michael, & the kids went home to watch the IA game and us girls headed out to shop for a bit. That night Grinstead's & us went to Carlos O Kelly's for dinner and then came home and had some drinks and gabbed some more. Alishia came over and ended up staying both nights with us too.

Allie by the cake before we sang. The number 7 was because Maggie didn't want to dig for candles and the kids didn't know the difference, they just wanted candles.

The wrestling match and I'd like to add everyone (including me) bet Allie would be the first to cry and she never did!!
