Drew's 1st Birthday!!

Drew had a great 1st birthday. He woke up & I entered his room singing "Happy Birthday." He was a very happy boy & danced in his crib. He had a blueberry muffin for breakfast & he got to hear me sing to him again. As a special treat Drew got to drink out of a water bottle, one of his favorites. AND I let him lick the cake mix off the spoon from his birthday cupcakes. He was in heaven! Our neighbor girl Jadyn had to come wish Drew a Happy Birthday before they left for Adventureland. They are best buds. After breakfast he got to open a present, his "I am 1" shirt. We had a great morning.






For lunch Great Aunt Jessica brought happy meals from McDonalds. The kids loved it. Emma & Kaylin sang to Drew & he got to have a birthday cupcake. He didn't care much for it & CRIED!! I couldn't believe it. We then went to spend the afternoon at the Scott County Pool. It was a hit! What a perfect birthday.

Drew went down for a nap when we got home & Emma, Jessica, Kaylin, & Great Grandma Lou hoo went to the party store. Great Grandma bought Drew a 1st birthday hat, sippie, & photo book & lots more!! They were all adorable, you'll see the hat in pictures to come.
That evening Granny, Papa, Nana, Papa, Aunt Amy, Uncle Brandon, Emma Aunt Mandy, Ben & Maddie came for pizza & cupcakes. Drew got a picnic table, a lawn mower, riding toy, 2 water bottles, & a Nike outfit. He loved all of it! Pictures to come of the fun evening.
