We had a nice & relaxing weekend in Cedar Falls. Michael actually got a whole weekend off!! Friday night we went to Jake's baseball game. They didn't win, but the other team was older & much bigger. That evening we enjoyed pizza & beer OUTSIDE!! It was wonderful. Scott's sister happened to be passing through town, so they joined us for dinner.





Saturday Maggie, Allie, Drew, & I went to Allie's dance rehearsal. She looked beautiful & was a leader throughout the whole dance. Drew did great which was an extra perk. Michael & Jake went to the baseball diamond for hitting practice. That afternoon we went to Jake's soccer game. It was a close game, but they lost. Jake sure can kick the ball!! Once we got home Allie & I went to the mall for pedicures & manicures. It was so nice!! We also got our pictures taken in one of those booths at the mall bc "my mom NEVER lets me do that." It was a fun date:) That evening we grilled out & played outside. It was relaxing.

Sunday Rick & Terri came up for the recital. We all trucked to the ball diamond to watch Jake hit. And he can hit!! HARD!! Now if he can hit in the games, he'll be in great shape!! We had a nice lunch outside & then my family hit the road. Drew slept the whole way home. He was tuckered out from a fun weekend!!

We came home, unpacked, & left again. We went to visit Michael's grandma Marge in the hospital. She is looking better, so hopefully with some physical therapy she can get some strength back. We then had my cousin Justin's birthday party. It was a very busy weekend, but we had a great time!
