Monday: Drew & I had a laid back day. We ran errands & I got caught up on laundry & housework. That evening Michael & Drew went to Nana & Papa's while I went to a wake. One of my dearest friend's Alyshia lost her grandmother. It was wonderful to see her, but not under those circumstances.

Tuesday: I worked & Mr. Drew went to Cassie's. I got a good report & he even ate breakfast & lunch this week!! That evening we went to Buzzy's for Taco Tuesday with my family. It was Buzzy's birthday, so there was cake & ice cream which was a hit!
Wednesday: We enjoyed Piza Hut buffet with Jessica & Kaylin. We then went to Great Grandpa & Grandma Sparks' as Great Aunt Jeannine (from FL) & Kathleen were here to visit. It was wonderful to see them!! Grandpa was doing a little better, but still was feeling weak. I look at him & just wish I could do something to make it better for him. He is such a strong guy & keeps on fighting! Truly someone to admire. We enjoyed coffee & great conversation with the family! That evening my friend Alyshia came for her last night in town. She spent the night & we stayed up until the wee hours of the morning chattting away. I love her & always have the best time with her!
Thursday: Alyshia stayed until after lunch. Drew enjoyed her company & we played outside. That evening Drew & I had dinner with some neighbors while Michael was at golf league. We made a quick trip to Target, Drew was a good shopper, & we called it a day. Did I forget to mention this is my official per diem day! I now pick my hours!!!!!!!!! No more set weekends or holidays!! YIPPEE!
Friday: Emma was here for the day. I had promised if the weather was good, we'd go to the pool. Scott County Pool ended up not being opened, so we went to Splash Landing in Bettendorf. It was a hit!! There was a "little kid" area & it was perfect. A slide that Emma went down over 100 times & a zero depth area that Drew LOVED!! He splashed & played away. Some of our neighbors came as well, so Drew enjoyed that company. That evening we went to Shaun Eberhart's graduation party. Drew was very tired from the long day at the pool & was ready to come home.
Saturday: Michael & I both worked while Drew spent the morning with Nana Terri. I worked for a girl so she could take her son to a baseball game. No more weekends for me this summer:) After work I was pooped from the busy week. We had a low key night at home & it was nice. Michael & I watched "Marley & Me" after Drew went to bed. I SOBBED!! Not sure what made me think of this, but I couldn't STOP thinking about Drew turning 1!! And I cried & cried & CRIED!! PATHETIC I know!
Sunday: Michael golfed with Brandon. Amy & I took the kids shopping. We went to South Park & the kids were PERFECT!! We rewarded them with playing in the play area & ice cream. They could not have been better. And we got some great deals too. We came home & the kids enjoyed the water table. It was hysterical to see them splash & laugh!! We grilled out & enjoyed a yummy dinner.
This week brings our 2nd wedding anniversary, Drew going to Cassie's 2 days,a graduation party, golf for Michael with a childhood friend, & Grease for me.
